As a horticultural group, we ask that you please include some plant life in your photos. The photo must have been taken by a member in the last 12 months, and photos submitted in previous contest are not eligible.

FLOWER SHOW - 1 entry per class, up to a total of 3 entries per month
To enter the flower show, you must be a member.
FEBRUARY 12, 2025
1. Valentine design in a small basket, front facing
2. A design celebrating Chinese New Year
3. February 15/ February 17 – a design celebrating flag day or family day
4. A potted plant, home grown for at least 3 months
MARCH 12, 2025
1. St. Patrick’s Day design in a stein or mug
2. A small arrangement, not to exceed 25.4 cm (10”) in any direction
3. A pot of spring bulbs, in bloom, forced at home by the member
4. A house plant, homegrown for at least 3 months
APRIL 9, 2025
ZOOM ONLY MEETING - NO FLOWER SHOW
MAY 14, 2025
1. A design to honour Mother, in a teacup, mug, or teapot
2. A vase of mixed spring flowers, may include own foliage
3. A wooden spoon design
4. A miniature design, not to exceed12.7cm (5”) including container and/or accessories
JUNE 11, 2025
ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW
NO MEETINGS IN JULY AND AUGUST WHILE WE GARDEN!
SEPTEMBER 10, 2025
1. A vase of fall flowers, 3 or more varieties, may contain their own foliage
2. 3 kinds of grasses in a vase
3. A sample of homegrown fruits and/or vegetables displayed on a plate
4. A design showing movement
OCTOBER 8, 2025
1. A vase of mixed fall flowers
2. Thanksgiving theme, may include flowers & foliage, real fruit and/or vegetables
3. Octoberfest design in a mug or a stein
4. A gourd/pumpkin/cornucopia design
NOVEMBER 12, 2025
1. Lest We Forget - a design to honour our veterans
2. Indigenous design, your choice of design
3. Grasses/seed pods, which may be fresh or dried, 3 or more varieties in a vase
4. A container garden with 3 or more plants growing in soil
DECEMBER 10, 2025
1. A design using flowers and seasonal greens
2. A design using candles, and/or pine cones, and/or ornaments
3. A potted plant
